Our first build was in 1991 in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. We have included some pictures for nostalgia.
The brief was to use as much of the doors and windows as well as other materials such as blocks that the client had hanging around his garden, even an old kitchen! In essence they wanted an upcycled shed or storage area in the garden. The site was a corner of a very small garden that would add value to the small house built on the plot. The site was a very windy area due to its 600 feet above sea level I'm glad to report that the exact same shed and all its upcycled components is still going, even the metal roof is original. We only use quality materials then and now. Although these days its becoming a ever increasing challenge. We do not settle for second best and always use top quality materials which are assessed on a yearly basis. In the 1990's a carpenter / joiner and an engineer got together to build sheds , workshops, outbuildings and potting sheds. Occasionally we would build a garden room but conservatories were the norm in those days and we did not venture into the work of plastic boxes and stuck to our core timber builds. The hobby became so busy eventually we became a business to where we are today. We still treat our business like a passionate hobby and we build with the same passion and quality as we always have done. We do not chase orders as they tend to chase us. We rely on word of mouth to this day and are happy building for people who enjoy our creation as much as we do. Its not about making money but about making a difference that matters.
